Structure Challenge | Science

The Leaping Lemurs have been working hard to build structures in science these past couple of weeks and yesterday they made some final changes before their structures underwent the “wind and high wind tests.”

Mrs. Choi used a blow dryer and a food tray for 5 seconds to test the overall strength and stability of their structures. You’ll be happy to hear that ALL of the structures passed the wind AND “high” wind tests – phew!

The nervousness, excitement and all around positive energy in the room was very palpable. We were all on the edge of our seats and the looks on your children’s faces in these pictures are proof!

Parent Storytime | Karin

Karin (we know her as the lady taking Packer’s incredible pictures or Amelie’s mom) kicked off our parent storytime this Friday! She read Room on the Broom – a story about a witch and her cat who fly through the sky on a broomstick. When disaster strikes they receives the help of three animal friends who join her along for the ride!

Karin’s teacher voice surely came through and we must say that she’s set the bar high – no pressure, parents!
